Help us Understand the Needs of our Community!

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

The Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning is currently conducting a research study to learn more about what the members of our community are seeking from Jewish organizations and experiences.  We know there are many people in greater Washington who feel connected to Judaism – through celebrations, classes, personal exploration, etc. – but have not chosen to become a member of a synagogue, JCC or any other Jewish organization.  These are the people we want to hear from, to better understand what Jewish life and engagement looks like beyond the walls of traditional Jewish institutions.

We are recruiting participants for interviews of about 30 minutes that will cover such topics as:

• Past Jewish experiences (and other religious experiences, if applicable) as children, teens and young adults

• Current Jewish activities

• Other current religious/spiritual activities

• Experiences with and perceptions of the organized Jewish world – positive and negative

• Experiences with the Greater Washington Jewish Community – positive and negative

• Patterns of decision making around life choices such as socializing, dating, marriage and raising a family, and the intersection of these choices with Judaism

Interview participants will receive a $50.00 amazon.com gift card as a sign of our appreciation for being part of this study. To participate in the study, please email mwoocher@pjll.org or go to the following website: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=5nZ2iw3BUMEQzLBbbOO7Gg_3d_3d
