Congregation Sha'are Shalom will sponsor a Mother's Circle group beginning Fall 2009

The Mothers/Parents Circle program is an umbrella of free educational events and resources for parents raising Jewish children within the context of intermarriage or a committed relationship. The program, which focuses on Jewish rituals, ethics and the creation of a Jewish home, includes regular meetings and group Shabbat and holiday observances. Meetings will start in the fall after the regional kickoff activity September 13, 2009 at the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia in Annandale, VA. The class will meet about 16 times during the year. Meetings will be held in Ashburn, VA on Monday evenings starting in late September 2009. Other locations available in Northern Virginia are shown at http://www.shalomdc.org/page.aspx?id=182507. For more information, please contact Sheri Brown at Congregation Sha'are Shalom at 703.737.0686 or rujec@sha-areshalom.org.

Congregation Sha'are Shalom, the Conservative synagogue in Loudoun County, Virginia, is a thriving, egalitarian community, authentically Jewish and fully engaged in the world. The congregation holds Kabbalat Shabbat services welcoming the sabbath every Friday evening at 7.30 PM and Shabbat morning services every Saturday at 9.30 AM.

Congregation Sha'are Shalom is located at 19357 Evergreen Mills Road, Leesburg, Virginia. For more information, call Congregation Sha'are Shalom at 703.737.6500 or write to CSS at P. O. Box 4518, Leesburg, VA 20177-8577. Visit Congregation Sha'are Shalom on the Internet at www.sha-areshalom.org
