The Mothers/Parents Circle
program is an umbrella of free educational events and resources for parents
raising Jewish children within the context of intermarriage or a committed
relationship. The program, which focuses on Jewish rituals, ethics and
the creation of a Jewish home, includes regular meetings and group Shabbat
and holiday observances. Meetings will start in the fall after the regional
kickoff activity September 13, 2009 at the Jewish Community Center of
Northern Virginia in Annandale, VA. The class will meet about 16 times
during the year. Meetings will be held in Ashburn, VA on Monday evenings

Congregation Sha'are Shalom, the Conservative synagogue in Loudoun County,
Virginia, is a thriving, egalitarian community, authentically Jewish
and fully engaged in the world. Affiliated with the United Synagogue
