| Study looking at attitudes towards psychological problems in the Jewish community |
Shalom, My name is Tzvi Pirutinsky and I am a graduate student of community counseling at of Georgian Court University. Together with my colleague David Hillel Rosmarin of Bowling Green State University, I am conducting a study looking at attitudes towards psychological problems in the Jewish community. We are looking for Jewish individuals who are 18 years of age and older to participate in our study by completing a 20-minute on-line survey. The survey contains questions about attitudes towards individuals with psychological problems, your beliefs about the causes of these problems, and your recommendations for seeking help. The questions have been designed so that Jewish individuals of all beliefs and denominations will be able to complete them. Should you choose to participate in this research, you will not be asked for your name or any other information related to your personal identity. Please click on the URL Link below and consider completing our questionnaire.
The success of this research is dependent on the voluntary participation of Jewish individuals from around the globe. So, please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think may be interested in our study. If you have any questions or comments about this study, please contact me by email stevenp22@gmail.com.
Thank you very much,
Tzvi Pirutinsky |
| Kosher Alert for Northern Virginia |
The new in Woodbridge Virginia has a nice kosher deli department. I was recently talking with the kosher manager (Moe), and he commented that his kosher deli sales were slow, although Fairfax was doing quite well. You might want to include a mention in The Schmooze to encourage people to make a purchase from the Woodbridge when they are in the area (very close to Potomac Mills Mall and Potomac Hospital; visible from I-95). It would be a shame if they closed the department. Thank you. Harold Belkowitz |
